One recent example of a Led-Zip custom designed and built product is our Rusty Bollard range.
The rustic charm of these bespoke manufactured bollards makes them a very attractive addition to any outdoor area particularly as they are fully weather proof.
Both of these bollards are constructed from solid steel and have been treated with a special oxidising compound to help create the natural ‘Rusty’ effect.
The first features a long asymmetrical reflector giving a floor-wash effect from the recessed RV-3 LED light module.
The second features 3 Polaris mini LED spots and an adjustable Cressida LED spotlight at the head, this allows the bollard to light low-level walking areas as well as flood a larger area or highlight specific features as required – these have been used to light tree canopies as well as architectural features.
They are available in Cool White, Warm White, Single colour or RGB and come complete with ground-spike or surface fixing plate.

For this example we were asked by our client to help design and manufacture a bespoke deck light fitting for outdoor use in the super yacht sector of the Marine industry. The brief given explained that the fitting was to be attractive to the eye yet discreet, have a fully weatherproof IP rating and be made of material’s capable of dealing with the elements of the bearing sea.
Our answer to the brief was to produce this stunning machine turned fitting made from Anodised aluminium & stainless steel. The fittings were given RGB colour changing capabilities and matched with our OS3 colour changing control unit allowing the lucky owner of the boat the opportunity to control not only the level of ambient lighting on the decking area but also the colour as well.
This fitting along with the colour changing OS3 option has become a regular fixture on these super yachts.

Our client in this instance had a certain type of up/down light fitting in mind but was unable to find a satisfactory LED equivalent available on the market.
We were approached and given the challenge of redesigning and manufacturing our own bespoke LED fitting that suited the liking of our clients tastes but also had its own element of originality.
The end result was this eye catching Bespoke stainless steel fitting. 3 high powered LED’s potted into either end made the fitting fully weather proofed to an IP67 rating making it more then capable of coping with the outdoor elements.
With a total of 6 LED’s drawing 7.2w per fitting in comparison to the 100w halogen fitting a substantial energy saving of over 90% per fitting was made.

Ease of installation was what we had in mind during the design process of this brick light unit.
Using a standard sized switch box as a housing & coupling it up with one of our IP rated RV modules, we have produced a weatherproof stainless steel finished fitting that really is as good as it looks.
